Behavioral consultation

For dogs experiencing fear, anxiety, aggression, or other behavior challenges.
This in-depth consultation focuses on understanding your dog’s behavior and developing a positive, science-based behavior modification plan tailored to your household.

    • Pre-Consultation Survey – Before we meet, you’ll complete a short survey about your dog’s history, routine, and behavior. This helps me prepare in advance and ensures we make the most of our time together.

    • Initial Conversation – We start by discussing your dog’s daily life, specific challenges, and any important details about their health, environment, and lifestyle.

    • Observation – I observe your dog’s behavior in a natural setting to see how they react, communicate, and cope with different situations.

    • Assessment & Explanation – Based on what I learn, I explain what may be driving your dog’s behavior, always focusing on their emotions and well-being.

    • Personalized Plan – Together we create a step-by-step plan using only positive, force-free methods, tailored to your dog’s unique needs and your household.

    • Practical Guidance – I demonstrate exercises or strategies and coach you on how to practice them effectively at home.

    • Follow-Up Support – After the consultation, I remain available for check-ins, adjustments, and ongoing guidance so you’re never left on your own.

Training walks blend physical exercise with real-world training, helping your dog improve leash manners, focus, and impulse control—especially in distracting environments..

  • Polite greetings and sit/stay cues

  • During a training walk, I focus on both exercise and learning, helping your dog build good habits in real-life situations. The process usually includes:

    • Pre-Walk Survey/Chat – Before we begin, I ask a few questions about your dog’s walking routine, behavior on leash, and any specific challenges you’d like addressed.

    • Initial Assessment – I observe your dog’s walking style, leash manners, and reactions to the environment (people, dogs, sounds, etc.).

    • Skill Building – Using only positive, force-free methods, I work on polite leash walking, attention skills, and calm behavior around common distractions.

    • Enrichment & Engagement – I balance training with opportunities for sniffing, exploring, and play, making the walk fun and rewarding.

    • Owner Guidance – At the end, I share what we practiced, demonstrate key exercises, and give you practical tips to continue reinforcing at home.

    • Follow-Up Support – I remain available for feedback, progress check-ins, and adjustments so your dog’s leash skills keep improving.

  • During a dog walk, I make sure your dog feels safe, happy, and well-exercised while you’re away. The process usually includes:

    • Pre-Walk Info – Before our first walk, I gather details about your dog’s routine, energy level, and any special needs.

    • Safe & Comfortable Outing – I ensure your dog is properly harnessed/collared and walked in a safe, familiar environment.

    • Exercise & Enjoyment – Depending on your dog’s personality, this can include relaxed sniffing walks, a bit of play, or a brisker pace for higher-energy dogs.

    • Enrichment & Companionship – Walks are not just exercise but also mental stimulation, with time for sniffing, exploring, and enjoying the world.

    • Care & Routine – I provide water, potty breaks, and make sure your dog returns home calm and comfortable.

    • Updates for You – After each walk, I share a quick summary (and photos if you’d like!) so you know how your pup did.

    • Pre-Visit Information – Before sitting, I learn about your pet’s routine, health, diet, and favorite activities so I can keep things consistent.

    • Daily Care – I handle feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, litter changes, and any medications as needed.

    • Exercise & Play – Depending on your pet, this might be walks, playtime, enrichment games, or gentle companionship.

    • Comfort & Companionship – I make sure your pet gets cuddles, attention, and emotional support so they don’t feel lonely.

    • Safety & Home Care – I monitor your pet’s well-being and can also water plants, bring in mail, or adjust lights for peace of mind.

    • Updates for You – I send regular messages (and photos, if you’d like!) so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and cared for.
